33's or 35's.....
1 Attachment(s)
ok well i just got rid of the 33's and upgraded to 35's, well it wasnt really an upgrade cause they tires i put on suck but im going to be buying some new ones real soon but idk if i want to stay with the 35's or go back to 33's, i love to looks of the 35's, havent had a huge problem with the gears or engine so thats not a factor, but for the driving that i do idk whether it will hurt or help me, mostly road with the occasionla beach or mud....... 33's have always been good to me, not to mention the decent gas mileage i got, (note-35's havent brought it down to much at all.....) i just cant decide, im more than likely going with bfg a/t's at the moment but my mind changes like the wind........just looking to see what others think, heres some pics to help along with the process

sorry i forgot to make a poll......guess ill just have to keep count the old fashion way
yea 35's and a t-bar crank to level it out!
t-bars are cranked, dont know how much more i can crank them, the shackles lifted it a ton in the rear, the looks is kinda growing on me.....
with BFG A/T's 35's BFG run a little small there acual size are...34.7 and the acual size of a 33 BFG is 32.7...
also not for you but i just noticed they have a 33x9.5x15 on there site now WTF talk about EXTREAM pizza cutter |
35's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
33's
35s
Just my opinion but I like the 33's better. Better clearance and gas mileage to boot.
33's as is
35's if you can get the front end up just a bit |
i like it with 35's better... but its all in how big you wanna go... it really looks awesome either way.
35's!!!
well clearence issues arent a problem at all, gas mileage is up in the air at the moment cause i dont ahve a tank on just the hwy, seems like the truck runs at alot lower rpm than it used too, used to get around 18-20 mpg on the hwy and with the way its running it seems like it may stay around there......35's are as big as i would ever want to go......i can def crank the front end up more but it starts to creak when i turn the bolts, im assuming that its just the bars being under more stress, anyone else hear these noises when they crank them????? if its not bad ill see what i can do when i change the oil next week.......
35's for sure
dont mean to bring up an old topic but im really losing sleep over this, im not lying, its killing me, i really dont like the body lift, i mean i love the idea of having bigger tires but i just dont like the looks of it, if i take it off i could clear 33's all day, im considering taking it off and getting another set of 33's rather than upgrading my current 35's, i think i just need more opinions cause i cant do it myself, i like the big tires but im worried about breaking and wearing stuff out, the more i look at it, 33's didnt look to horrible, but than 35's clear up the empty space......opinions please.......
do you only have a body lift or do you have a suspention lift too?
its got a body lift, than i have the t-bars cranked and chevy lowering shackes.....so basically i have a wannabe poor mans suspension lift
keep the body lift...
just because?? any reason??
looks better i like um do 35's installed enough now to not mind them lol
um hmm......
Keep the BL....keep the 35's....and buy my brush guard :-)
No the tires look good on your truck though... |
dude stay with the 35s they look so much better
I look at the 33's and think wow very nice truck...when i see the 35's i think wow that truck is tough I need 35's.
