33s on stock ranger
I am getting a 4" super lift and 33x12.50 mud terrains for my graduation. The problem is that i cant get them both at the same time. I have to get one first then the other a couple of weeks later. Right now, i have 255/70 r16 mud terrains. My question is, which should i get first, the lift or the tires. Will 33x12.50 fit on a stock 4x4 ranger with the torsion bars cranked. I no getting the lift first is going to look stupid with 255s. Thanks

I have 16x8 mickey thompson classic 2s but i aint really sure the bs.

with a t-bar crank you should have minor rubbing if any at all with the 33's, i say tires first

buy tires first. stack em up somwhere then get the lift and put them all on at the same time.

Thanks guys, i think im going to go ahead and the get the tires first and mount them and crank my t-bar, then get the lift. Thanks

You'll rub like crazy with the 33x12.5, just leave them off til you get the lift.

My truck stock with 33's MINOR rubbing but nothing bad. Now do you have fender flares? Thats a different story.
Attachment 202043 Wow talk about low rider right there! Now I have to climb in my truck. lol |
Yeah I was talking about fender flares, you might still get a little rubbing without them, but there will probably be some.

yea i would just get the tire and put them in the garage till u put the lift on and who cares if u put the lift on and u have stock wheels for a little while i mean ur buying the tires soon
|
Thanks. Im getting the tires soon, and will put them in the building for a little while until i get my lift installed. I hope it looks good with them. When i get it done, do you think i need to take my front and rear stock mud flaps off.
