33s on stock ranger

I am getting a 4" super lift and 33x12.50 mud terrains for my graduation. The problem is that i cant get them both at the same time. I have to get one first then the other a couple of weeks later. Right now, i have 255/70 r16 mud terrains. My question is, which should i get first, the lift or the tires. Will 33x12.50 fit on a stock 4x4 ranger with the torsion bars cranked. I no getting the lift first is going to look stupid with 255s. Thanks

But if you can't wait, go with the tires first. Why can't you leave the money for the tires in an account and make a little interst on the money till you're ready for them?

You'll rub like crazy with the 33x12.5, just leave them off til you get the lift.

Yeah I was talking about fender flares, you might still get a little rubbing without them, but there will probably be some.

Thanks. Im getting the tires soon, and will put them in the building for a little while until i get my lift installed. I hope it looks good with them. When i get it done, do you think i need to take my front and rear stock mud flaps off.
