I agree. But it was this or a set of ****ty steel wheels for the price I paid. Centers will be going a dark gunmetal and leaving the polished lips.

yeah anything is better then crappy steel wheels. especially if you'll be dealing with road salt and whatnot.

They will see 100% salt duty to save the stock wheels which I like better. I can't wait to see them after they are painted. They might even look best if they were all painted, even the lip. Might tone down the look of the lip. Anybody want to do some photoshops? lol

Awesome, thanks. I also posted a thread in the photoshop forum. I will be painting them over the Christmas break when I do the front wheel bearings.

That looks so much better. How hard is it to change that to a satin black? Just want to see the difference. Do you like them better this way?

What is your favourite? I think I am leaning satin black but that gunmetal looks pretty good. If the truck wasn't black it would be gunmetal no doubt. Thanks for all the effort. Makes it way easier to visualize how it will look.

Running boards are going, so is the window rain thing and possibly the bug deflector. Only had the truck a week and it has been too cold to work outside. I also don't think I like the grill and will be trying to locate a stock 2005 grill.

bug deflector and running boards should go, most definitely. the rain vents aren't bad, but I never noticed them till you pointed them out. get some clear corners. and crank your tbarssss.

LMAO!!!! That looks so ridiculous. This truck is going to remain stock suspension wise. Don't need another money pit. I just want to have a reliable, good looking DD and try to get a bit better fuel mileage.

hahahah. is it level? it looks like the front is a little lower, but I cant tell with the way the driveway looks. crank your tbars and level it, it'll look a lot better. oh, and I honestly can't decide between the black and gunmetal. I just looked at the black again and it looks sick.

Truck sits pretty level but will have to get it on some level ground to make sure. Will crank them if it needs it.
