Another Early Christmas Story

Well I just ordered my new tires, rims, body lift, bull bar, clear corners, and Hella lights. Details below.

Wheels: 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II's

Tires: 32x11.50x15 (I wanted to go with these for now, moving up to 33's after I graduate college so I won't be highway driving as much)

Lift: 3in. PA body lift with Manual extension (This will be my first body lift and I do have somewhat of mechanical knowledge, however if you have any hints or any other info that I might need to know please PM me or post here!)

Front: Westin Bull Bar Black with chrome skid (I will make custom brackets)
Clear corners black edge version from Ebay
Hella 500 series lights for a little late night driving : )

As soon as I get everything I will have TONS of pictures don't worry!!

Stephen

Man I want Christmas to come for me. I want some toys, but instead when I got home today I found a bill for over $425 from a surgery I had a while ago(I haven't been bad).

Dang dude that sucks... I wish I could pass along my gifts to all of you but I'm sure my Ranger wouldn't be too happy about that. I sold my ATV and now it's time to modify the truck. I have a couple more grand just can't decide whether to pay on the truck or get a Superlift, hmmmmm, the choices :(

I would just go ahead and do the suspension lift, but doesn't it void your warranty?

Sound like you got some good stuff. btw tips on the body lift when you do it use air Impact gun. and Heat the body bolt on the bottom where the bolt comes out of the washer for a few min or till you smell burning rubber and it will impact right out. it saves like 2 hours on the lift right there.another paint the front bumper brackets on the lift caues you will be able to see them so paint them black. the rear bumper brackets after there mounted to the bumper be prepared to have to bend them a little out to fit the frame it sometimes doesnt fit perfect.

suspension will void the power train warrenty. body shouldnt at all. plus a very backward comment being you have a body lift so why didnt you spend almost $2000. oh ya cause you cant aford it like most of people....

stone: i know i didnt have the money. thats why i have a body lift, im not unhappy with the body lift but i would have prefered the suspension like everyone else does. i thought all lifts were the same with warrenty. thanks on correcting me.

mark: i know. if i had the money for a superlift i would have done that instead. im not going any higher than where im at right now

I really think I'm going to be happy on the height it will be with just a body lift. Especially after I eventually move to 33x12.50's. I just hope the 15x8 rim will be sufficient.
