Anybody running Cragar Soft 8's?

I just bought a set of 15x8 Cragar Soft 8's from Summit Racing,so they should be here in a few days.

Wondering if anyone else is running these wheels on their trucks and any likes or dislikes about them?

I'll be mounting these 31x10.5x15 tires on them.

They're very heavy but tough as nails. Great wheel for someone that wheels frequently.

ive got the discount tire brand of those...basically same thing different names. Unique 297. They are fine, nothing really special about them other then durability. I didnt notice any drop in mileage or anything so really nothin to report.

They look really nice though

CJ, the FX4 rims were first on my list...I was actually supposed to buy a set from a member on here, but they would have cost me more than what I got these for.

Both of those wheels look good on your truck. I'm a gunmetal/black rim fan.

Can't wait to get these things bolted up.

I always liked the circle holes on soft 8's better then the d-windows. Good choice.

I didn't notice a loss in anything. I do have a 6" lift and 33's though. But they did fine.

one of mine rolled out of my sisters xterra and slammed into the curb.. minor ding +1 steelies

i didn't think the tire+wheel combo was too much heavier than with the Classic 2s.. because it had been almost a month between lifting each.. then today i lifted a 35 with an aluminum wheel on it and HOLY SHAT is that a TON lighter than the current steelie+35s im running

you cant beat 4 brand new wheels for under $200!

this guy's running them

I'm running them.. but i have quite a bit more braking force than the normal ranger.

I also have many plans for them, welding up the hole for the valve stem, drilling a new one and welding on some rim stiffeners, which would be pretty tricky with alum ones.

i also run soft 8's 17x8's heavy rims but man they are nice. and for the 78 bucks a rim you cannot beat them. i did not notice any lose in MPG or anything when i mounted mine up. but im running 35's and stock brakes so i have a little longer stopping time... I just have to plan ahead or smoke the tires coming to a stop..... ABS... whats ABS...

I got them installed today and took a test drive around town and out on some snowy and icy backroads. They are heavy as sin, even just the 15x8s,but didn't notice any affect on my performance or braking. I've just found my grip and stability is MUCH better over the stock tires...but then,4 flat slicks would be better than Wrangler RT/S's anyways.

Overall, for the money spent, the wheels look great on my truck and I am very happy. Not to mention Summit Racing's customer service and shipping was great.

I'll have pics tomorrow.
