back-spacing help needed

ok so as some of you guys might know i got some new rims recently but i somehow failed to think of backspacing for the larger tires... what i have now are 15x8's wrapped in 28x9x15, and im moving up to 16x8 rims with 35x12.5x16 tires and i have 3inch bl and 6 inch suspension, so how much backspacing will i need to avoid any rubbing? i need to find out as soon as possible so i can take my rims back and get proper sized ones tmw, so if anyone can help that would be great!!

you need a wheel that has a 3 5/8" to 3 3/4" back spacing to eliminate rubbing......

wow...that is too much backspacing.....you will most likely have some rubbing on the coil buckets with that much....i dont think the stock wheels have near that much...

no your backspacing is 4 5/8" and you offset is -6mm probably......they are 2 different measurements that don't effect one another....

alright then you have a +6mm offset......the offset is how much the bolt flang is from the center of the wheel.......

the backspacing is measured from the flang were it meets the brake rotor or drum to the farthest piece of the wheel that hangs over the brake...
