bigger tires/speedo accuracy

I just bought a Ranger last week. The tires that are on there are 265/75-16. According to the door label it comes stock with 245/75-16.

How much does that screw up the speedo and odometer? Is there a way to calibrate the computer so it is correct?

Thanks

itll be off by maybe 1-2mph at 60 so you really shouldnt notice it... to get it fixed you can go to ford or get a performace tuner that will recalibrate your speedo as well as give you extra power and performance....

I went from 28-29" tires stock to 31" tires and I only changed 1-2 mph at 60mph.

well acully its a percentage so at lower speeds it wont be off as much and at like 70 it will be off more. also you know there is a gear on your trans that the speedo cable goes into you take off the i think 10mm bolt and the cable comes off and you can put a different gear # to correct it
