Couldn't pass this deal up. It's a local vendor so I didn't even have to pay the shipping. $275 plus tax for four M/T Classic II"s in 15x8.

WHOO HOO!!!

Can't wait to get these on the truck. I didn't want to go wider or small backspacing because of throwing mud and the like, but I think my tires are wearing more in the center because of the 15x7 rim size, which is not optimum. I'll save my stock wheels to use on my Cherokee when I get it. Ranger wheels are about 1" less backspaced then Jeep wheels which can be helpful.

Nice wheels a nice price.

John FYI to use ranger wheels on a jeep you MAY need to bore the hub centers a little.

A few months back I helped a young kid that had a mid 90's 4x4 v8 Grand Cherokee with a flat and no spare. I lent him my steel spare to get to a tire shop. When we got to the shop it took the tire changer 10-15 min. of beating on the tire with a slegd to get my spare off. When I got my spare back it had it fresh gouges all around the inside of the hub.

Okay, that's good to know, thanks! I have a full machine shop group at work that should be able to open them up a bit as required.

I've actually had problems getting Ranger wheels off of RANGERS before, lol. Tolerances, I guess.

I won't be able to get the wheels until Monday. I had no time to get up there and get them today and can't over the weekend. With any luck they'll be on by Monday night.

I'm excited! :)

That's good to hear, Gary, thanks. I was going to post and ask some people about caring for them, how often, etc. I will get them scratched eventually, but keeping the shine would be nice.

Hey john if you still have any of the carwash stuff you bought from me i would put at least to coats on the wheels to seal them and keep stuff from sticking (inside and out) :)

OH by the way they look awsome

I still have some, Dave, I'm hoarding it, lol!

My sprayer broke though, I need to purchase another. I'm using the little sample bottles you sent me as sprayers.

I got them on! What a difference. What's strange is how much bigger my tires look! I wasn't expecting that.

The wider stance looks great -- though I'm not looking forward to the extra cleaning of the truck. Especially since I took all the mud flaps off. Well, I took THREE off. I ripped one loose in Centralia backing over it apparently.

I won't be able to take any decent pictures until tomorrow.

I also remounted the tires blackwalls out this time -- I'm tired of caring for the outline white letters!!!

The guys at QuadraTec are really nice. What a bunch of AWESOME Jeeps they have. You definitely know you're in the right place when you pull up and see about a dozen built Jeeps in a row -- all of them the employees ride to work. Most of them on 33's and well-lifted and equipped.

Their website is: http://www.quadratec.com

Okay, here's some LOUSY night pics complete with bogus reflections that make the wheels look like crap! But you get the idea. More pics sometime tomorrow. They are about 1.5" to 2" farther out (far out!) on each side. The tires used to pretty much line up with the edge of my rock sliders and now they are quite a bit farther out.

Tires are VERY dirty since I turned them around back-side out for blackwall and who cleans the back side of their tires, ever? Oh well...

Stock lugnuts for now. Ours are "bulge acorn" type with the flange at the bottom. I ordered some chrome ones but I have to use the stock ones for now.

John, your truck has a came along way, I remember when we had the atlanta meet, you said you had no desire to have an "offroad look", hehe. What a change, looks great. Im offroading in my truck this weekend for the first time, trying out my revos, hopefully I wont do too much damage. Again, looking sweet, and its came a long way in the past year or so!

Thanks, Leo. How do you know it was rubbing? I doubt, if it was happening, it will with the new wheels.

The bumper is still there! What's gone is the valance, and it has a couple of places along the front edge where the tabs with the holes for the mounting bolts broke off. I did it in the quarry in Centralia last June.

I took it off so it wouldn't keep catching as my sorry 4x2 was pulled out backwards from the rocky messes I get into! It's REAL easy to snag it going backwards in the right conditions, and the underside of it was pretty scratched from hitting steep, rocky slopes.

So, although the valance can be fixed and remounted, I don't know that you'd want it.

Okay, daytime pics. I adjusted the luminance because when I take pictures of my white truck, the black tires just about disappear. So these look low-contrast so that everything shows up. Not done for great photography but just to document the mod.

I think I see what Leo is talking about with the highlights on the drivers side. I didn't know you could rub on just one side. There's no damage visible to the tire though, just a particularly smooth area. There is some evidence on the other side though. Interesting. It's not actually any lighter there, just very smooth and reflective. In most lighting, with the tires clean, you can't even see anything.
