Cant find 33x13.5s

ill be selling some speakers, bazooka tube, and an amp here soon and will be buying a 3" lift w/ the cash... ill then be buying some new tires and i was wanting some 33x13.5s. i cant seem to find any, does anyone know who makes a tire in this size?

SHOman86 06-25-2007 08:50 AM

the mtzs come in that size

casfz1 06-25-2007 09:11 AM

Mickey Thompson MTZ's do not come in that size They only come in 12.50 or 15.50.

I think Toyo and Pitbull rocker are the only ones that come in a 33x13.50x15.

04BlackFX4 06-25-2007 09:49 AM

i dont think you can fit that size tire on that small of a lift.

rileyw05 06-25-2007 09:56 AM

mud grapplers and iroks also come in 13.5" wide....although i believe the irok is for a 20" rim....the nitto is for 15 though

I know i can get these but i do more sand and road driving so i was trying to find a tire thats made for sand, road, and then ice... mud last but ill take what ever i can get in a 13.5

99ranger4x4 06-25-2007 10:52 AM

those are pretty sweet tires, just a lil pricey

SHOman86 06-25-2007 11:01 AM

sorry it was the 33 x 15.5. dont mind me...pain meds are gettin to me

Lord Of War 06-25-2007 11:25 AM

Those are nice tires.

The wider the tire the better in most terrain right? Is it better to have wider or thin in

-mud
-sand

in sand its always better to have wider...

other wise it depends on what is under the surface... sometimes its better to have thin tires to dig down in sloppy mud till you hit a hard base, but when theres no hard base the wider the better

Pinecone 06-25-2007 11:43 AM

Why are you so set on a 13.50, what is wrong with a 12.50. There is very little difference in the two, except the 13.50 will be more expensive b/c noone makes that size.

Steve_O113 06-25-2007 11:48 AM

i like them cuz nobody has them and like i said i love driving on the sand and the wider the better if i cant get what i want i have no problem w/ 12.5s

04BlackFX4 06-25-2007 12:02 PM

12.50's would look better imo.. you should save up for a bigger lift and get some 35's man.

A tire that is thinner with tighter lugs is better in the snow... Mud it depends and sand for sure you need wide tires...

04BlackFX4 06-25-2007 12:49 PM

i always thought thinner tires are better for mud.. like you see at truck pulls or whatever, tractor pulls.

Only if theres something solid underneith the sloppy stuff. if its all just slop you want to try and stay above the nasty stuff that sucks you in

lifted97ranger 06-25-2007 01:08 PM

another bad thing about a 13.5 tire is i don't believe they are made in a radial tire...i think they are bias ply tires....

Chris so when say a "tighter" lug pattern are you saying a radial or an A/T.

got-dirty 06-25-2007 09:45 PM

a/t, a/ts are radials as well

Lord Of War 06-25-2007 10:22 PM

Well what I meant to say is radial ( what most rangers come stock with... I think there called Wrangler A/T ) and then something a little more aggressive life BFG A/T or like me tires Dunlops Rover XT
