Are center caps interchangeable from brand to brand? I have a set of pro comp alloys 15x8 1069. the front center caps are bulging and whatever is behind them is pushing through causing it to bulge/crack they are about a 1/4" too short. They fit fine other than the buldge. Anyone else run into this problem? I have a set of caps from a 15x10 pro comp alloy that work fine, they just stick out way too far. Can I throw some caps for a 15x8 from MT or Ultra or any other brand for that matter?

EDIT: would running 1/4"-1/2" wheel spacers help at all? the only problem i can see running into, is having enough thread for the lug nuts to grip onto.
