little bits of surface rust is sure to happen...within 3 years in an environment w/o salt, there were little bits of rust that were unremovable on my old set of wheels.

cragars are steel so they will start to rust once the steel is exposed they will start to bubble

so you guys think i should just go with the black ones then? every time i wash the truck i get home and the rims are already dirty from salt and crap again.. so i think the chrome will get eaten up
5x4.5 pattern right

5x4.5....but get what you want...salt is a chrome steel wheel killer. just putting that out there.

yeah i wanted the chrome but i want something i can run year round without worrying about the chrome flaking off. ill go with black so i don't have to worry about it. also save myself some money cuz they are 40 a wheel instead of 60 lol

Go with black or satin finish as they are powdercoated and will not attract rust like the chromed steel will.

That's why everyone switches their alloys and chromes for black steelies in the winter,so that they don't rust and pit.

Plus,I like black wheels.

i really don't want to start another thread so....
should i run a 15x10 or 15x8 wheel with the 33x12.5? i want it to stick out a bit and i don't want it to rub with a 3"bl and shackles.....

15x10's look way better than 8's with that size tire.

My black ones rusted without the salt.

Any place where it lost any paint it would rust. Wheel weights, lug nuts, center cap, etc..

So I bought alloys.

the 15x10s wont rub with that tire and BL or will it? i don't mind the rub at full crank of the wheel but i don't want to trim my valence....
....only going to run an A/T not M/T if that makes any difference
