Anyone heard of doing this?

Basically, on my moms 04 Explorer, we are wanting to update the wheels, and she needs new tires anyway.

I was thinking some nice 18" cobra wheels would look good.

Would they work as far as offset and backspacing?

Remeber this has IFS and IRS.

ya i put them on my moms explorer for the heck of it once... looks good seen it on a few around here too.. it needs bigger tires

the one's i have seen always have been the bullitts but those have the same specs... just dont care for those wheels

 

Go with saleens!! or FR500's dont put cobra r's on it. There is one guy around here with an 04ish explorer its black and he has black fr500's with the chrome lip and it looks awesome.

 

lol, no thanks on the black wheels.

Saleen's are too blingy, i think the cobra R's will look good.

 

Saleens FTW they come in any color or luster you want. I do not know about the limits of OFFSET or what not.

 

Then go with 2k3 cobra's they look cleaner.
