different tread

a guy i work with is selling his tires but he had a 2wd f150 so they have different tread on them front and back.
my question is would the different tread hurt my 90 ranger when put in 4wd ?

Do you have a link at to what the types of treads are?

It shouldnt hurt as long as your not putting it into 4wd on dry pavement...

it doesnt matter what tread u have PERIOD. as long as u have the right gears and they are no mix matched.. like 4.10 rear and 3.73 up front.. thats when u will have problems with the 4wd
