A dude over on rps wants to trade me his 17x8 1996 Cobras on 245/45/17 Sumitomo's for my 15x8 mb predators on 225/60/15's plus parts.
what do you guys think, should i do it or no?

sure theyre cobras but id rather have the newer cobras like casper or shanes brother whos name escapes me at this time

If your rims were 17s I would say no but the bigger rim will just look better on your truck. Don't put Cobra R's on there though, everyone does that and it looks like shat now.

 

i forgot to mention the backspacing is 5.75"
my current backspacing is -19AM ?

what would the change be? i dont know how backspacing works

 

Yes you need 17's, it will make your truck look better, but I'm not really a fan of those Cobras.



BTW, that Exploder looks horrible. Who in there right mind would lower an Exploder, not to mention a 2 dr one.

 

Get them. IMO they will look MUCH better on your truck, especially lowered. I'm not a fan of the wheels you have now, especially in 15's since you plan on lowering it.
