Feeler : DSG Alcoa's

I am about to purchase 4 *MINT* DSG Alcoa's on 31" BFG All-Terrains with about 1/3 of the tread still on them.. They come with all 4 center caps as well.

If they don't fit on my truck, I will be selling them.

This thread is to:

A.) Tell me they will/won't fit (due to the wheels not clearing the hubs on my Mazda)

-or-

B.) Form a line and make an offer.

5x4.5.....but I've been told they won't fit our model year (Ranger or Mazda) due to different hubs.

They will fit. You'll have to ream out the inside of the center caps you want to put on the front though because the center caps don't clear the hubs. If you'd like pics click my name and look at the thread I posted of my 98 4x4 with Alcoa's. I can take some pictures of the reamed out center caps tomorrow if you'd like.

****, really? I've been told you had to bore out the center on the wheel itself with a hole saw to get the hubs to clear, maybe it was just manual hubs? Idk. that sucks, there was a set for 100 near me about a year ago

See the difference? The metal ring that clips onto the rims sits on a "perch" all the way around the cap. What you have to do is dremel away the metal ring then most of the perch but leave enough so the metal ring doesn't slide down into the cap so you can snap the caps onto the rims. You also have to dremel some of the cap away at the bottom so it'll go over the hub. Be careful because it is plastic and it's only so thick. Do a little at a time so you only take as little as possible and check it on the hub.
