Final Opinions/comments before placing order!

Hey guys,

Being only sixteen dropping $900 dollars is quite a big deal.. So i'm looking for some reassurance.

First off I'm just making sure that if I get 32" BFG A/Ts and Black Cragar Soft 8's 15x8 (5x4.5) they will fit without a lift on a 2001 4x4 XLT 4.0L?

While I'm putting on the tires I might give it a torsion crank, but I just need to know that the tires will fit without rubbing even without a crank?

Also, if anyone has any other suggestions on cheap rim, tires (black rims preferably), let me know!

thanks again guys!

I like the D-Window steelies like mine over the Soft 8's.....but yes it will fit. Crank your t-bars 2 turns....you'll be fine.

Had the exact same truck with those tires, no rub except at EXTREME flex, like maybe twice in the truck's life. What backspacing are you getting with the Cragers? Only other black steelies I would look at are the American Racing, but not as cheap as the Cragers.

I wasn't sure what the backspacing should be...is yours 4" backspace?

I'll peak at the American Racing wheels and D-Window steelies..I'm just extremely limited in the $ area.

I ran them on the Ford Alcoas from an FX4. I will suggest you get 8" wheels, if you are not already. My 32s wore a little weird with the narrow 7" Alcoas. I think a 15x8 with 3.75 backspace Cragers would be perfect....and nothing looks better than plain black steelies!

If you do get the D-Windows, make sure you get the ones WITHOUT the GHEY blue/red pinstripe that runs around the outer lip of the wheel.

Nailpolish remover (Acetone) takes that right off. I had the ARs and that was the first thing I did!
