Locking lugs?

I run Gorilla locking lugs

I had some of the McGard ones when I originally bought my Classic IIs years ago and they weren't 'deep' enough-they were bottoming out before they were tight--something to be aware of.
Whatever you decide to go with, do yourself a favour and spend the $10-15 to get an extra socket-just in case.

These are the ones that I'm running. They work great on the rims that i have now because the lug holes on my rims are really tight-these give the extra clearance that I need, plus they take a special socket to get them off.

ok just to clear things up.
alot of people mistake wheel locks for tunerstyle lugnuts
tuner style are NOT a wheel lock. they just take a special "key/socket"
tuner style:
most are 6 spline and the keyscan be bought about anywhere. i use these for extra clearance and I figure if they get stolen that's why i have insurance haha
a TRUE wheel lock looks like this-
these have a special pattern and an actual "key"
each manufacture is different but most have up to 100 different patterns and you have to have the serial number included in the package to get another key.
they are BETTER protection but (working at a tire store) I can get them off in about 5 minutes tops just hammering a socket onto it.
the BEST imo is this style which also takes a key unique to each set
being that there is no edges for any socket to grab these are the hardest to get off. and believe me they ARE A PAIN IN THE A$$ lol
anyways just thought i'd pipe in lol

i bought a set of the last style posted above and took them off again. not worth the money imo. pain in the *** every time you have to remove a tire and one of mine snapped in half about halfway up the lugnut. i was only doing an initial torque of 80 ft-lbs and it broke before i got there

ive had these on my integra as honda uses this style factory and they're easy as any other wheel lock if not easier because of their perfectly round size, any one after a specific model just need to carry 4 of the same socket and a hammer, no need to waste time making a scene snapping studs and ruining wheels and theyll be gone before you realize it. overall wheel locks/ locking lugs are a waste of money if people want your stuff they will have it. only the dumbest and laziest of thieves would be thwarted and the day will inevitably come when you thwart yourself but wont want to ruin the keyd lugs you paid money for.

this'd be true but what I stated was loose lugs and then driving at speeds high enough to make the tire come off .
