Fresh Rubber

Long story short, I had a skirmish with a nail last night.....the nail won big time. I still had the stock tires on the truck, but I've been planning to get new ones within the next couple of months. Now the time came, I'm at Discount and faced with the decision of whether I should spend the money to by a new tire that will match the other stock tires or go all out and just change out my tires now for some new BFG's.

Excited yet? lol, I decided to just spend the money on new BFG's now instead of buying one tire only to buy 4 more later. I got the 31x10.5...My truck is all grown up now! I can finally match Outdoorsman's height, haha

thats the tire size I'm looking for... tell you what on the mudflaps why not try this?

I shortened mine because they do help with debris control...

*one side is stock the other was the shortened flap

no I didn't do any cutting, just got my drill out and measured down from the original holes and then put the screws through, there's a lil place on the fender flares to guide it through

Hey cody...quick question regarding those style flaps....

there's a notch on the flap...is the notch on the inside or the outside?

lol you got them on right, the notch goes outside, I used that as a guide to run it in that lil notch in the fenders

you should have had them balanced with sticky weights on the inside. to much weight on the outside. and lead eats the wheels....looks good.

thanks guys. I've considered leveling the truck out now, but I'm going to hold off on that for a little bit. We're taking a trip on the 1st, so it'll be a good test. I have high hopes for them, I know it'll be a blast!!!

no rub. I've done some good offroading (not too hardcore, but challenging) and haven't had any issues. I haven't cranked the T bars.
