Need Opinions on New Wheels
A little backstory for those that haven't been following my build: soon after my motor swap is done, I'll be working on lifting my truck to fit 35s. Should be doing it in Q1 of 2015.
I've been doing a lot of window shopping for wheels and tires already, and I think I've decided what I want. However, the wheels will need some modifications to make them work with the theme of my truck, which is where y'all come in to help me decide. Here's the plan:
Fuel Hostage wheels in 18x12 with -44 offset (Yes, you read that correctly) which gives them approx. 4.75" of backspacing. I like everything about them except the big chrome bolt heads on the spokes. I've already decided they'll be painted black, which will make them look like this:
I'd also like to incorporate some red into them as well. My question is where. I could paint the spokes like this guy did...
Or I could paint the lip like this guy did...
And if I painted the lip, I could also paint the little studs around the lip black (sorry, no picture of that). With all of that being said, tell me what you think! And if you're curious, my choice of tire will either be the Fiece Attitude MT or Falken WildPeak AT (my current tire) in 325/60-18.

I used to see an H3 all the time that had black wheels with a red lip. When I first saw it, I honestly thought it was too much, but it grew on me.

Gonna give this a bump since I came across a few other options on the Interwebz. Found an example like Dewey suggested, and I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. May be my #2 option behind all black. Not as big of a fan of the red bolt heads, but it's another option and fits the thread lol:
