What size rims are on a stock ranger xlt. And what is the biggiest tire i can put on it...

xlt has 16in rims. but i just pulled my spare down to check it out yesturday(make sure its not flat) and it was a 15 in. wth?

I would like to put some all terrian tires on them. would 30 fit them...

 

yup, just in the same way that a car or van has a doughnut your truck has a smaller spare then the rest of your tires.

to anwser ur question i do believe u can fit all the way up to a 31x12.5x15 on stock suspension.. with out rubbing on a 2wd XLT. dont hold me to it.. i know on my 2wd edge.. i put 31's on it no problem.. but i had a higher stance then a regular 2wd XLT

 

31x10.50 stock rim coilsprung 2wd rubs very slightly at full left lock. 12.5 will rub for sure.

 

ah i stand corrected then... the exact size i ad were 31x11.5x15 on my edge.. didnt have a problem.. but i did have a higher stance...

Stock xlt 2wd is normally 15", but the 4x4's its about a 50/50 chance of it being 15 or 16.

 

the stock spare i have is a 15 lol
