So i've been mulling around the idea to offset the bigger tire i put on my truck by getting some lighter rims this summer. But have no idea how much the stock rims on my 99 Ranger weight and was hoping someone on here might know.

this is pretty much what they look like. mine are painted black.

 

not sure on the steel wheels but Alcoas are 19lbs a piece, 5 spoke 16s are around 25.

 

I should probably specify that the stock rims are 15's.

take one off. weigh yourself then hold one and weigh then do math

 

i doubt you will find a wheel with enough difference to offset the factor of the larger tire.
