Ironman Electra LT66 tires....

anyone ever heard of em? Tireguy at the fleamarket has a set on 265/75/16 set of 4, brand new, for $350.... they look like the ta/ko's but i cant find any infor online ;/

those two are the wrong tire, the tire i looked at looks nothing like those two, it looked like a cheap knock off of the at kos

those look like the rugged trail t/a. with 10ply design they are going to be really stiff.

the ones at the fleamarket are brand new and are 6ply

They're not 6 ply -- they're 6 ply RATED. Not the same thing. Their actual sidewall plies are likely 2.

think about this: most LT 265's are about $125-$150 each. if they are selling the same size tire at $350 for 4 tires, thats around $87. now, i don't know if these tires are good or bad, but sometimes a cheap price means a cheap tire. unless you find a good, well know tire on sale. if i were you, i'd shop around. it's better to spend a little more for a good, quality tire than skimp and "pay the price" so to speak.

personally i dont think tires are a place to cheap out...they are the only contact you have with the road, and with a no-name tire i'd be scared of going over 60 on them. A blow out could be devastating to you and your truck.
