Sorry no pics yet but I went with white out. Mine is a 95 and back before then, when they first came out everyone had white out. I think white out on the all terrains and black out on the mud terrains. There is not enough tread showing on the side of the AT's to make it look anything but round unless you are close up. On the MT's the white takes away from seeing the tread. Unless you have some other feature you want to accent.

I have a white cap and I think it looks better with the white out.

I think it works on different color trucks. Also like Josh said they look bad when they aren't kept clean. On a clean truck, like dixie's for example the white out works because his truck is always clean. But on my old ranger I was a slacker so I went with black out lol

 

LOL...Even when its dirty...its clean! Alot of people will look at my truck and be like man thats a clean truck. But ill be like, its freakin filthy. Like right now, im about to have a heartattack b/s she aint been washed and vacuumed in a week and a half!
