would it be possible to have my stock XL rims line-x'ed? and about how much would it be?

or is anybody selling the stock edge plus alloy wheels and wanna trade or sell them and near dfw airport? trade them for my stock XL wheels and/or the black rock crawlers without tires,,

you probably could... youd have to tape off alot of spaces and the whole width of the rim but i dont see why you couldnt...

I always thought that would be a cool idea if you had the right wheels to do it with. I would love to see them if you do it.

fo sho. I dunno if you put that much layer on one side of the rim whether that might really screw up the weight balance.

That sounds like a really good idea, I think it would cool looking to have a set of wheels sprayed.

I really do think that it'll unbalance it a lot. Because not every spray or what not will be 'equal'.

And I think the 'Line-X King' went & seen about that & the place he went to said that it would be best for him not to do it.

Ill see what the line-x people say,, if not Ill try to get them painted black,, or white? how much would that run me? Im getting rid of these crawlers, hopefully save on gas,, if switch back to the stock 15x6" rim would i be able to run 225/75SR15 tires? do the alloy edge plus wheels weigh any less then the stock XL wheels?

one more thing,,
would these work on the stock XL wheels? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...QQcmdZViewItem

i know alot of questions thanks in advance

Those wheel caps will work on any 5x4.5 lug wheels. I have them on my new wheels right now.

I would be careful taking the advice of the line-x people. Their job is to sell line-x not to worry about the balance of your wheels...not to mention, I seriously doubt that anyone at the line-x shop really has any clue about wheel balancing...

if you cant do the line-x on the wheels. looking into the AR teflon seires wheels. they look awesome, and are made to be road worthy. looks like line-x would on the wheels.

hmmm,, thinking about it,, how much would shipping be to 76021? and how much do you want for them? dont really wanna spend more then $200 and i have no idea how much those go for,,

original plan was to put the stock xls on but have them painted black or line-x'd,,
and if i got the 16"s, it would be a good excuse to get new tires!

I think for those 200 would be him giving you a pretty damn good deal. You won't have much chance of gettin rims in your own town for 200 unless they're those cheapo cragar soft 8s.

Course could jus be that evertyhing is expensive up here. Altho OEM rims are hella common, they tend to be costly! Jus check ebay.

they are worth about 100 a piece, even selling normal

but since they are taking up so much space in the garage, ill see how much shipping would be. if you could pay 250 + shipping, i think i could go for that.
