That would be a great combo, do it man you will prob want to go with a 16x10 on the wheels though the 8 will be a tight fit with the 12.50

I believe it is a softer rubber compound but a lot of it depends on how you take care of them as well as how you drive.

That would be a great combo, but I would look at Toyo Open Country A/T. They are basically the same tire, made by the same company, but I have heard that they have a longer tread life than the Nittos. There website says 50K. Depending on how far you want to wheels/tires to stick out would be your deciding factor on 8" or 10" wide. I know you said you want 8". That is what I personally would get. I am looking at basically the same combo but a 295/75/16 on a 16x8. I hope I helped with your decision.

Yeah the Toyo's do good on light duty vehicles.. not on heavy ones they wear through in 28k haha. But tread warranty is a beautiful thing.

Check Discount tire they have the best warranty.

Why would you buy something that weighs more and looks cheap?

Your reason makes no sense. Steelies are a cheap alternative that look bad. Body lifts if done right look exactly like suspension lifts so don't even say body lifts look bad.

i have the procomp 16x8 that look EXACTLY like the mickey's but for a lil cheaper. i had the nitto 265/75 and loved them. i had that combo on my stock suspension for a few months before i lifted it. i would recommend them. my g/fs step dad had the nitto's on his super duty and then bought the open country's which he liked better (smoother ride & quieter). but thats a 14" wide tire on a heavier truck, so you do the math.

he's the combo:

it all personal opinion, id rather have a suspension lift than a body lift.
and id rather have steel wheels than alloys. gotta save money somewhere.

and why do you get so offended that i dont like body lifts? im not tryin to offend you by any means

i'm not a fan of either for that matter, and there's no need to get off topic.

dave, the nitto is basically very similar to a bf a/t but a little prettier. i personally like them better. as for tread life? you drive a ranger, your tread life will be fine compared to what the manufacturer suggest because the tire isn't always designed for a light truck. the 265/75/16(which i had) is the stock size of my dad's full size silverado. so i wouldn't worry about that.

Theres a lot of body lift haters out there, i figured you were one as well. I'll end up running both body and suspension lift. I'll give you this much steel wheels can take a beating better than aluminum

If your stock tires are 245/75/16 they are about 30"x9.50"
