M/T II's?
M/T II's?
I'm looking to buy some 15x8 rims. I don't want anything fancy, I've been looking at Mickey Thompson II's and they're nice and simple. Anyone got feedback on em? If I decide to buy them where is the cheapest place to start looking on the net?
I have 'em in 15x8 -- strong, simple and solid.
Like almost all polished wheels, they are not clear coated and require quite a bit of maintenance to keep them shiny if you offroad -- I've pretty much ignored them and I now have grey wheels, lol.
Still, they've been great and M/T's service is fantastic. I damaged a wheel with loose lugnuts and ruined the steel inserts in the wheels lugholes (which is a feature of M/T's that not all wheels have). I emailed them, told them how I did it and I wanted to order 5 new ones -- they said don't worry about it and sent me 5 new ones for free.

These are the wheels I was looking into buying. But ater a lot of research I discovered they arent the best wheels in that price range. I found a set of wheels from "Allied" they are called "Stone Crusher's". I really like these wheels, they look great and also are aluminum. And I polish them once a month. I bought the mother's buff ball. And put it on a drill and just get the wheels good and shiny. They are very easy to clean and takes about 10 minutes to get all of the wheels to look like new.
Since they are exclusivly through a company called Les Schwab. They are actually cheaper then then the classic 2's or the classic lock 2's. And also have some what of a sinulated bead lock. WITH removable screws so you can add a ring. They are sick and about 124 a wheel. for 15X15.5's
Ha ha! I was going to say, "Dang, he's got wide wheels!"
Sounds like a good price. I'm not into fake beadlocks though -- to "poser-ish" for me and I'm wheeling a 2WD already -- people would talk...

Fake beadlocks just add to the "Bling Factor". Pretty much why i have wheels with them lol...
They will be for sale around summer time too...they are 15x8 Eagle Alloy 15x8's
Same as Classic II's but with fake beads.
