Marve Albert would say Yesss!
Today a replaced the stock wheels with Pro Comps and BFG ATs. I will charge you a nickel if you say, "Lose the mud flaps," and a dime if you tell me to get a lift or crank the torsion bar (whatever that means!) What do you think of the new look?
By the way, I have been wondering if the front appears too low. Why would the bed slant forward? I put a level on the bed rails and it slopes about an inch or so.
The rear is higher stock to compensate for loading the bed up or hauling a trailer. Over time the torsion bars sag which hightens that rake. Also worn out shocks won't help with that either.
That makes sense. But we all know that we collect water in the bed with the stock configuration, until we slam on the brakes to unload it. Couldn't Ford just raise both ends? I don't know (much). I continue to learn from all of you (y' all) at this forum. Keep it coming.
Trucks used to be level. From mid 77 and before 3/4 ton trucks sat level.
The front ends were lowered after that in an effort to increase aerodynamics and efficiency. Things haven't changed, but now (like Trent said) they stay low to accommodate loading
Your bed should drain water, there are drain holes, unless you have a plastic bedliner
