Mazda 6 wheels on a 94 Ranger?

I've done a bit of searching but I'm still a little confused...my friend has some 15x6 wheels off his old Mazda MX6 that he'll give me...I just want a 15" wheel to replace my 14"s to get slightly better tires.

The problem is, they're 40mm offset...will this be a problem?

They're going to be "sucked in" a little... might look a bit strange. The center hub may not fit either, since it's off a FWD car?? Maybe someone else can provide more info there....

FWD wheels wont fit on a Ranger, not to mention that the bolt pattern is probably different...

wrong. many guys have used FWD rims on rangers using adapters to compensate for the offset and hub bore differences.

wrong again. for both the mazda6 and MX-6, the wheel bolt pattern is 5x114.3, same as the ranger

problably means with considerable certainty. what information did you base your certainty upon? you were not reasonably certain. a quick google search proved so.

you can google "probably" as well.....
