Can anyone tell me if 02 mustang wheels will fit on my 88 ranger? I found a nice deal on a factory mustang 16" wheels with tires.

i dont think so because of the pilot hole is too small on the mustang wheels. aftermartket stang wheels will fit somethimes because of the lugcentric wheel type.

if it doesnt fit, you can machine the pilot hole out to fit the ranger...

Are you talking about the part that goes over the hub and bearing part through the center of the wheel. If so, so I wold be able to make the center hole bigger to fit the ranger.

The 95 wheels fit over the cap.

The newer stang wheels will fit, but you wont have the center cap to the wheel.

The backspacing on a mustang wheel is around 6"-6.25" which is made for a car.

I had a 17x9 Cobra R with a 2" adapter to push it out. Mine cleared.

Theres a member on here , D , which has 01+ Cobra Wheels, with no center cap up front to clear the dust cap.

The wheels in my avatar, are 95 Cobra's and fit. Without any modifications.

My wheels are on a mustang right now though, althuogh i had them on my truck.

The ones on the front of my car are OEM ...

Aftermarket would be better for his truck anyway, cheaper and a better fit.

**** off Gil... :D
