Need wheel offset advice
Need wheel offset advice
So I have an 04 Ranger Edge. I'm currently running 31x10.50x15 BFG All-Terrain KO tires on factory wheels. I want to buy wheels that will push my tires about an inch outside my fenders. So my question is what is a good offset range to achieve this?
There are pictures of trucks in that thread that show what they look like AND they list offsets/backspacing....
I suggest you do more searching. It's ALL been done before. It's ALL been documented on the Ranger forums.
GB :)

Why ?
As the Wheel/Tire moves to the out side of the vehicle, stresses increase on all of the components, stresses that the OEM parts were not designed for and the tire needs to move in a larger arc to achieve to the same turning radius... also this could create interference between body/fenderwell/tire !
So what's the logic... please ?
