New tires for my ranger

I am going to put Some bfg at's with some rough country balck steelies on my truck. The truck is a four liter V6 and auto trans. Will I have to upgrade any gearing or will there not be a noticibe difference since I will not be hauling heavy load? Also will the new rims widen the stance of the truck?

Thanks,
Sam

1. Changing the gearing depends on your tire size.

2. Widening of the stance will depend on tire size and wheel backspacing.

Im just going to 31's sorry I didn't put that in there earlier. And the wheel back spacing is 3.75 (15x8 rim)

Gearing will be fine. How wide are the tires you're getting?
