it will fit, but you will have problems with tread wear. it will pull the sidewalls out so far that it causes the center of the tire to bow inward.

you will still have to air down way too much for the center of the tire to make contact/get traction...even for a trail ****, you want the best possible traction...

Wait, is he saying a "9.5 inch tire" onto an "11.5" inch wheel? Because everyone knows its okay to use a wider wheel on a narrower tires, but stupid to use a narrower wheel on a wider tire. And I can't tell if that's what you're telling him is okay.

Well I always learned that you would measure that as "33X11.5" equals a 33 inch by 9 inch tire.

so my 35x12.50 are 35 inches tall and 10 inches wide(at the lip).

Because we all agree that

31X10.50 tire = 15x8 rim
32x11.50 tire = 15x8 or 9 rim
32X12.50 = 15x8 or 15x10 rim
33/33x12.50 = 15x10 rim
35x14.40 = 15x12 rim.

So isn't he saying "will 33x11.50 tires fit a 15x9 wheel?" Because as the guy said, where the hell do u find a 15x11.50 wheel.

And if it in fact was a 15x11.50(inches) wheel, I don't think a tire that should be fit on 15x8 or 9 wheels belongs on a 15x11.50

Okay well I never said you "assumed". But none the less, I just researched it myself since you didn't help at all.

A 33x12.50 tire is 12.5 inches wide(SIDEWALL) but you mount it to a 15x10 inch wheel, EVEN THOUGH A 15X12 WHEEL IS POSSIBLE, because there is a much larger chance you will pop a bear with those wider wheels.

So you telling him that 11.5 inch tires to 11.5 inch wheels is correct, BUT NOT THE BEST CHOICE. it'd be much better with 15x9s.

Sorry if I'm sounding like a dbag, I'm learning a lil bit here myself. I know that John Griggs would agree with me on "narrower tire equals better bead". And that wheel size doesnt' even exist anyways.
