Newbie needs advice on wheel/tire combo...

I've got a 98/99 4x4 4.0 which needs new wheels and tires. (intro thread https://www.ranger-forums.com/showthread.php?p=1958002)

As of now it sits on 235/75-15, but I have a 3" Bodylift on the way from Summit, so the big questions now are:

1) Will it look wierd with OEM size wheels? (I think it will...)

2) If/when I go with 31/10,5-15, do I go with 7" or 8" wide wheels?

3) If I go with 7" wide; they should be 4" Backspace and 0mm offset, 8" would be 4" Backspace and -13mm offset... Am I right?

OEM wheels will look fine, tires not so much. I wold go with an 8" wheel and the offset and backspacing don't have to be exactly like that.

those rims look cool! I'd keep em, tire wise ya definately bump up to a 31" depending on the size bodylift (3" i imagine) it may look wierd aswell, one of the guys in the local club had a 3' body lift with 31s and he had to bump up to 32s to make it look right......

you might actually want wider than 8". aren't you running on 8" tires already?
