35's with 3.73's?
I am thinking of getting some 35's and I know my gearing is not ideal but do you think I could do it till I get the $$$ for a change? 96 4.0 4x4 3.73's. Lots of highway use, and like to go muddin too. I know I'll have to be in 4lo from now on. But what are your guys thoughts. I figure with the 4.0 it may be doable.

Noooooooooooooo!
I hated my truck for the 2 weeks i had 35's and 3.73 gears.......it was the WORST dog in the world.......
wait till you got enough money to do the gears 1st, then get 35's......
it will put WAYYYYY too much strain on your drivetrain to run 35's with 3.73's......my tranny temp at 1 point with that setup was above 250*.....that is NOT good.......even if you have a manual tranny, i can guarantee you that you will replace your clutch when you have the gears changed..........
spend the money.......don't be a noob and not listen to me...... i WILL tell you "I told ya so"

I would say if you had 4.10's you would be fine but if you had to regear in the future go with 4.56's
Actually according to this tire chart it is just outside
