Painting Steel Wheels?

Well my current steeles are hideous. I have an XL which is BASE model. And until I have the cash for some decent wheels and tires I was thinking I'd paint my steel wheels black and leave the center cap chrome what do you think?

check into powder coating first. if you can find someone to do it for a decent price go for it because those wheels will be nasty long before you have your new ones..

Powder Coating

Might be more expensive but it'll hold up better and last a long time.

if you are trying to save money for wheels just use rattle cans instead of paying more for powder coating. it does come out better if you powercoat but if you plan on getting new wheels save your money and just spray it
