Pattern/Offset

What is the pattern and offset for the stock wheels on a 2001 ranger?

5x4.5" bolt pattern and stock backspace is usually 4.5"

Offset of -1 inch (-25 mm) I think it is. Offset is how far "off center" the mounting surface is. Whereas backspacing is how far the mounting surface is from the back of the wheel.

Ranger stock wheels are 7" wide. A zero offset wheel would have the mounting surface at exactly the center, and that would be a backspacing of 3.5".

Ranger wheels have about 4.5" of backspacing, which moves the wheels about 1" closer to the truck, meaning their offset is -1 inch.

UNLESS I have the sign wrong on the offset number. If I do, someone correct me, please!

No, the 1" offset is positive because having a negative offset on imports is uber cool...lol

The backspacing dimension is taken from a different location than the width dimension.

Ranger wheels are 7" inside where the tire mounts but are about 8" outside of the wheel lips. That means that a nominal 7" wheel with zero offset has a backspace of 4".

The vast majority of factory Ranger wheels have a nominal width of 7" and a BS of 4.5" making the the offset about +1/2", usually approximated as +12mm.

1999 Ranger - Aftermarket Wheel fitment

I am looking at a used set of MKW 110 wheels. They are 15x6.5 with a +38 mm offset and 73 mm center bore. Will these fit my 99?
