question to all people running mustange bullets

did you have to put a spacer on the fron for them to fit right or modify you front hubs/rotors mine seem to have a problem fitting flush against the rotor and are haveing very bad steer shakes and wheel wobble my old 1995 cobra R's fit perfect but i came across a deal that i couldnt pass but now the bullets wobble is the a place i can buy a spacer and what size should i go with?

i had to run a spacer with some 99 cobra rims. I've discovered most people do have to run spacers....most likely pretty small. I had to run 7/16th. However, i machined my front wheels so the hub would clear and don't have to run spacers....never liked them really.

Haha, i took a drum sander attachment on my power drill and sanded the inside of the center hole of the wheels. Now, i had different wheels than bullitts...i think it might be different doing it on bullitts, idk. Just measure your hub and then measure the hole in the rims and you'll see how much you have to take off. ***Note, the dust cap protrudes out a bit and therefore can't use the cool cover...i'll get come pics when i get home tonight...

Oh, okay. I don't know if the bullitts middle portion sick out further or not.

I have my old 7/16th spacers i could sell you if that size works for you.

You need to run 5/16 or larger if the wheels don't clear on their own. I'm running cobras, and I needed the spacers. If I ran a 1/2" or larger, I could put the center caps back on. As far as how much spacer you would need to make them line up righ with the fenders, it depends on the year of the wheel, and how you want them to sit. I would be happy with 1/2" or 5/8", but I would need longer studs to run a larger spacer than I have now.

im going to try to pick ome up at the auto store tomorrow morning cuz the wobble is REALLY bad so i need to get some ASAP i think im going to try 7/16th first cuz its not a whole lot of space and i dont want my wheels sticking out passed my fenders to me a 1/2" would be to big but i maybe wrong and grant did you use universal spacer or was it for the lug pattern we have and maybe/hopefully this will be enough so the wheels wont rub the control arm =) like my cobra's did but the bullets look really good they are gray wanted black but like i said deal i couldnt *** up stock ranger wheels for bullets....what would you have done lol we'll see how it goes tomorrow if not i may buy yours grant
