A Quick Question On B/S.

Hey yall I had a quick question on back spacing...

If I want the wheels to be farther away from the truck, what do I want the back spacing to be closer to?

lower, closer to 3.

stock wheels are 4.5" BS

most 15x8s are 3.25, 3.75, 4.00...
my 15x10s are 3.625

depends on the offset, width of the wheel, and the Backspacing.

Exactly like he said. Most of the time backspacing and offset go hand and hand. Stock rims being 4.5" barely reach the body line of the fenders. With the same width wheel and 3.25" backspacing, the wheel would be sticking out more. When you change rim widths it will also affect how far it sticks out according to the backspacing.

Speaking of which, how much effort would it take to complete a SAS on a 2wd vehicle?

20" rims on an sas truck? You're nuts...Didn't you see the thread with the LII that had a BL and SL with 20's? The lift was sweet, the wheels were ghey.

Yea, those we're 36's... To small a tire for that wheel, I'll be 4 sizes up in tires.
