Ranger Edge on 24's?

After a lot of indecision, I decided to make the move to these beautiful 24x10 +13mm offset Velocity rims wrapped in 295/30/24 Toyo Proxie S/T Rubber. I had them milled to fit the Ranger. I was told that 5x115 is so close to 5x114.3 that the two sizes are interchanged all the time, but I wanted to be exact.

It rides ok. Not much dif in the city, but the rough old two lane highways have something to be desired for. It rides like my 20's did when I put too much air in the tires. The tires aren't that small, they just look small compared to the rims...haha

There is no rubbing and I have never done any cutting. The truck sits up 3/4 of an inch higher in the front than it did stock. The back is lower than stock by approx 1 1/4 of an inch.

Braking is affected some, but certainly not worse than putting a small sport 4 wheeler in the back of the truck.

I know you guys over here at Ranger Forums are rough and typically don't hold off on the bashing... As a majority, I am sure you will critisize 24's for a ranger. Most even critisized 22's for a ranger until they actually seen them. In my opinion, it takes 24" to fill a Ranger Edge Fleetside wheelwell. The sh*t looks good, I hav been getting a lot of compliments on it... from random people even. So, if ya don't like it, f*ck off!

I like it alot need to upgrade the brakes you are going to wear them out quick. I want to go big but don't want rubber band tires. You know how people will talk crap about a ranger with 24"s. Whats up with Lifting a two wheel drive ranger what good does that do? The truck is still lacking!!!

Looks good, better then i thought it would, i think 22's with a higher profile tire would look good in that style rim on a king cab ranger.

Looks good! How much did th at set up run you?

20s would be my limit but it's your truck. I do think lowering it a bit would make it look way better.

I don't care for the wheels but thats just me. The truck would fit right in in the car cruise scene. It doesn't look bad, but I wouldn't want to haul any serious weight with it....I use my trucks.

All the hostility. At first I didnt think I would like this set up but its really not to bad. What are you going to do next with it. Lower and level. Bed cover maybe or performance. Its a nice little truck and although I am not a big wheel lots of chrome kinda guy, I like what you did with it. Nice.
