wrong to think that with your vast education, social sciences, and superior attitude, that you could recognize my light attempt to pigeon hole you, but still move on to argue your point. you however, chose to focus on my twist of your view, talk downwardly, and drop the debate entirely.... well, thanks for playin! have a nice night.

how much does one 24" wheel and tire weight?

not my cup of tea but to each his own. i think on our truck the biggest you should go is 18's, if they were on a full size truck it might look better but not on a mini truck.
|
weight on one of these?
|
Rims are about 46-47 pound a piece and the tires are 39 lbs a piece.
|
holy crap.....those suckers weigh more than my 35x12.50x15's weight mounted on the 15x10's......
not only do you need to upgrade your brakes, you need to regear! |

if you hate a Ranger that much, i would suggest not coming around this site or GE......you wont get very far.... kinda steppin' on your own words aint ya:shrug: i guess either one of those trucks would make you, in your words a Dude, we a ll know a ranger is not the best or our dream truck. |
Are you supposed to be an offroad guy? Most 35's weigh in at about 75lbs a piece.....
|
Diameter kills more than rotating mass.... alot more.....

not only do you need to upgrade your brakes, you need to regear! its his ranger if he does not want to regear he does not have to, if he does not want new brakes he does not have to. if its what he likes let him be... |

I guess I was living in the past on the tire weights..... Plus I was going by bad ass mud tires.
Hmmmm...... I have an idea that no one will pursue.... Do the physics on rotating mass and diameter.... don't forget to compenaste for where the wheel weight is loacated in relation to center. Since we are not going to do that, maybe we could get some mean ass test equipment...... nah, nobody has that either..... How about this, common sense! I bet you will find that you can turn a 33" tire and wheel that weighs 150 pounds much easier than you could turn a 37" tire and wheel that weighs 100. what do you guys think? maybe I need a drag race against someone with a truck with oh say 33's, 35's? Why not a stopping constest? |

how did they mill the pattern from a 5x115 to a 5x114.3?
they just oblong the holes? or drill 5 new holes? Id like to see pictures of this Doesn't sound good for the rim |

It is not egged, but if it was, it wouldn't really matter, becuase wheels center based on the seat with the nut and the rim... The hole doesn't mean **** and the hub bore doesn't mean **** if you propperly toque the lugs.
They used inserts and recut the pattern |
