Recommended tire and wheel size

I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 2wd Tremor supercab and I just recently for got a 3" body lift for Christmas and I was wondering if anyone knew what size tires i should get? I would like to keep a 16" wheel though.

285/75/16 is a nice size. It's about a 32.8" high and 11" wide. It will fit nicely on that stock tremor wheel also.

Ever think about doing the spindles also? You'll get about 3" more.

your stock wheels will not allow a 285 to sit completly on the ground and will cause uneven wear.

it does this because a stock wheel is only 7" wide, not 8.

so if you want to stick with 16s i would recommend a 16x8 wheel.

15" tires and wheels are ALOT cheaper! just an fyi

^why pay atleast 400 on new rims when he has the stock (and might i say very good looking) Tremor rims?

I second the 285/75R16

i am running 275/70R16s on my 16x7 rims and they seem to wear just as well as any other

yeah I have 285/75/16 on my truck and it seems to also have full contact to the pavement on stock wheels (16in) I would go with that but also thats just my opinion
