suggestions and pic request: 4wd trucks on 18's

I'm looking to put some 18's on my truck over the next few months, and I've been trying to decide the tire size, and not a low-profile. Right now I'm thinking 255/70, but I'm looking to see if anyone has some pics of 18's on their truck, and what size tires they are running. Also any recommendations for tire models? I don't take my truck off-road, and I drive a lot of highway miles to and from work, so I need something that rides good. I plan on also putting in a 1-2" BL while I'm at it.

t5cents, that size isn't bad. I think I'm going a little taller sidewall, though. Based on seeing your pics, I might go 265/70, as it would give me another inch of height. I'm looking at 18x8.5s.

Looks like I'm going to end up going with 265/70/18 Falken S/TZ04. I'm hoping to pick up the rims next week, and the tires and BL by mid Feb.

Ditch the flamesuit. 34s on 20s should be pure sex. Have you picked out your rims and rubber yet?

I already have the rims from a previous suv I had but I put them on CL since I really want some black with chrome lip'd rims. Still not sure on the rubber

OK, I can't seem to decide on rims, so I'm looking for opinions:

These in 18x9

or:

These in 18x8.5

Going on this truck:

LOL. I think once they're mounted with the large tires on them they'll go very nicely.

Yeah, I've seen this pic you posted somewhere else. I like it, although if mine fit like that I'll probably add spacers to widen the stance a bit. Funny, but I had looked at those exact rims for my Exploder before I decided to get the Ranger.

OK, I did a quick photoshop out of a pic I saw on here by chance (happens to be 33s on 18s on the same color and front end as my truck, with a similar lift to what I plan on doing--I forget who's pic it was, but I hope you don't mind me using it) with each of the rims. Although I was leaning a little more toward the 5 spokes, after doing this, I think I like the 10 spokes better.

haha good one. :P not many people from maine. you and me are pretty much the only active ones.. there are a bunch of truck guys that belong to a car club/group called 207trucks. we normally meet up in oob in the summer and or cruise down to new england drag way to watch the test and tune on friday nights. not many people but its still something, its fairly new. my buddy is part of maine turbo diesels, which doesnt really help us either.. uhmm.. yeah i dont know there really isnt much of anything. if you want more info on 207trucks just pm me.
