Super Swamper TSL'S

My friend has a set of 31 inch super swamper tsl's that he's wanting to sell for $200. I was just wanting to here the pro's and con's about these tires. They only have about 200 miles on them so they are practically brand new. I know they won't have near as good road mileage as my BFG A/T's but I want something that will look more aggressive and pull better in the mud. I am also planning on getting a set Mickey Tompson Classic 2's for my truck and I was wondering if the ten inch wide ones would make the tires rub on fender walls with my 3 inch body lift? I beleive those Super Swampers are ten inches wide but i'm not positive though. Thanks for the help!

Are they bias ply or radial? Super Swampers really aren't the BEST tire for a pavement pounder, but for $200 that's a pretty good deal.

I wouldn't get 10 inch wide rims for 31" tires. You won't have to worry about them rubbing at all, but it'll look funky.

Now that I realize you've got a 3" body lift, 31s are going to look a little funky anyways. It's your call, but I think you should send them my way so I can put them on my Zuk

TSL's are great in the mud. Okay in the sand. SUCK ON PAVEMENT! Even though they suck on pavement and that is where my truck is mostly I still love them and wouldn't trade them for anything. I am not sure if I will get them again though because of how bad they are on the road.

I'll admit it my truck would look alot better with 33's which is what i'm wanting but i'm worried that my gas mileage will go to s*** and I will lose alot of power. I already have the 31 inch BFG A/T's and personally I don't think my truck looks all that bad with them. You can only imagine what those 31in Super Swamper's looked like on my friends Powerstroke that's why he's selling them.LOL

I just smoked a set of TSL's on my 99. If you drive your truck at all on the pavement these tire's are not pavement friendly. SSR'S or radials are better but as the tread goes down it will rattle your fillings out of your mouth. Not to mention when it get's cold the tire's will flat spot, and bumpity bump on down the road you go until the tire's warm up.

hey buy them and if you decide you dont like them sell them on here. for 200 bucks you cant go wrong. you could probably get rid of them here and make some money on the deal.i know i would buy them off you if you decide you want to sell them.

Actually they measure larger than they say my TSL's measure like 33.5" and everyone that sees them can hardly believe they are 33's.
