Are these any good?
Well at almost 160 dollars a tire and me being only 16 I cant afford bfgoodrich mt or at. So i got to looking at the maxxis buckshot and I like the design but no sidewall lugz so I looked at the 32x11.50 bighorn and can get em almost 115 a tire. Thats a considerable amount lower but my question is are they any good and will they last quite a while?? I will bee doin quite a bit offroadin and mostly on road too. Anybody that has experience with these or knows anything aout them please chime in!
well its a m/t tire so it is made of a softer compound, on a smaller lighter truck like ours they do ok but if you haul any heavy loads then they can start to get worn pretty quick. I know a few guys that have those buckshot muds and they seem to like them.
I don't know about bighorn's, but buckshot's I don't like. They have soft rubber and get punctured easier than most that I have seen, but we have bad thorns like 3 to 4 inches long. Your going to get what you pay for. All I bought were cheap m/t and finally bought a good brand and I can tell the difference in wear, noise, and performance.
That is what your b-day is for. Get tires or at least money to save up for tires

I like mine, but as said above they are a mud tire so they're made of a softer compound. I haven't noticed mine wearing strangely or quickly at all, but don't expect them to last like an all terrain. More detail in pm.
