Unbalanced wheels

I need to drive about 170 miles to get my Bl on and ill have my new 35's and wheels balanced in the back of the truck. I would just drive down there on them but they wont fit. So instead I'm gonna drive down there on my 31's and ****ty steel wheels and swap them out after the BL. My question is how bad will the ride be if I just have the tires mounted on the wheels without balancing?

It will ride like crap. Just ride home on the 31's, you will be fine.

Where are you getting the body lift done? Just curious. I haven't read any of your threads on this yet.

Im getting my BL done down in San Diego at Rangers house. Were gonna go wheeling after and take actuall pics (not cell phone) so Id like to have my 35s on. My plan is going down there with my steels and 31's mounted unbalanced because I don't want to spend 60$ just to drive to San Diego. The after the Bl swap out my 31's with the beef and my nice wheels for some pics and wheelin. Atleast thats what I'm hopeing.

If you have a Walmart with a tire center near you a lifetime balance and rotation is only $7.50 a tire up here, it would be worth it to get the 31's balanced. Once you get the 35's on you will need to keep up on balancing and rotating them so it's not a bad deal. Up here they just go by the vehicle and not the tires so I figure I've got about 6 more years of free rotations and balance.
