uneven tire wear...
well i've been experiencing really uneven tire wear lately. my front tires are wearing alot more on the inside than the outside. i just recently got an alignment done and it didnt fix it. so i did a little searching and found that some guys changed out their shocks and it fixed it. my truck has 96k miles on stock shocks so i think thats the problem... who else has had this problem?
also, wut shocks would u recommend if i do change em out?

camber, caster, toe, cupping? i really am not familiar with any of these terms... lol and no i have no idea wut they did. i just told em i needed an alignment and they took my truck for an hour. thats all i kno really. lol
uneven tire wear should be fixed by getting it aligned properly. what redneckstone was saying is that they didnt properly align everything, just the toe in so it will drive straight. take it back, or go to a different shop to get it aligned properly
ah... gotcha. yea i'll look into it.
I had this same problem. I went to get it aligned and they guy there said the reason my left front tire was wearing faster on the inside was because it needed a camber cam setup. it was leaning in an inch or so. this is probably your problem. The guy who aligned your truck just doesn't know what he is doing.
well i havent checked it in a while but its been wearing wierd for a just as long... i'll check it anyway

yo i just orders a +/-2 degree camber kit off ebay for like 60 bucks shipped. best thing to do honestly is buy one of those alignment plans. I bought one for 130 and i can take it in as much and as frequent as i want! Last time my truck was there they told me i needed the camber kit and wanted to charge like 80 for the kit then 150 to install it. i was like no im good ill bring it back in a few weeks after i install it myself. no problem
