What do you guys recommend

I am in the market for some new rims. I have 285/75/16 tires so the rims have to be 16's. I like the look of the american racing baja and the eagle alloys 058. I want a backspacing that is closer to 4 not 4.5, right? I hear that 4.5 might cause some rubbing. I have a 3 in BL. I cant seem to find the eagle alloys 058 in a 16 in rims with the 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

If you guys know of where these rims are or any other ones like these let me know.

The ranger stock is a 4.5 backspacing. The closer you get to 0 the farther they are going to stick out. I have 3.635 backspacing on my wheels and they are 15x10s. I had 33x12.5 with a 3 inch body lift and had no rubbing.

So I will be fine with the 4.5 backspacing. I thought I read that the stock backspacing was 3.75. Thanks for the help. I want 16x8 in rims right?

You should be fine with stock backspacing, I would go with like a 4.0 or 3.75 and 16x8 is fine for the tires that you now. it will look alot better with the wider wheels.

American racing dosent offer the baja's in a 4.0 or 3.75 backspacing with a 16 in rim. Would you go with the 16x8 or 16x10

With the current size tires that you are going to use on them 16x8.

Well, I went to thier website... you might wanna go by the manufacturer's specs... Try giving them a call cause sometimes they "forget" to update the website.

And personally, I would trust any Man. over eBay.

Those wheels would look pretty good on your truck.

I like those procomp rims, here they are. Would you all agree that 4.0 backspacing is better then 4.5?

I think that I found a winner. I will let you know if and when I get them. Plus $365 is a pretty good price.

Alot of people are saying that 3.75 backspacing is the way to go. Are there any rims that have this backspacing that have the same look of the american baja's, procomp 1069, or the eagle 058. I have yet to find any. This is for a 16 inch rims.

honestly ive seen the black truck in person. looks killer. i think 4 is fine, you really arent going to notice a 1/4" id be suprised if u do.

this is like a 1/4"

lol if that.

plus that 1/4" will be a little easier on bearings.

hey you will be fine with that backspacing. I have a 5'' backspacing and i dont rub. Now the only reason why i dont rub is because i have 16 inch rims. So dont worry about it.
