What size tires would look good?

Hi everyone. I have a 2000 Ranger XLT ext. cab. It is 2wd and auto. It's almost time to buy some new tires, and I need a bit of assistance with what size would look good on it.

Right now I have size 225 R 70's and Stock chrome rims. I'd like to have something a bit wider..

So what would look good, and what would be too wide? I'd like the widest I could put, without it being tacky, or it just not fitting properly..

Many thanks in advance!!

I think you mean 225/70R15. 70" wheels would be HUGE! lol

Since you have a 2wd, possibly some 245/70R15's? I mean, I have 265/75R15's on my 4wd and they fill out the wheel wells great. I'm not sure how big of tire you can fit on a 2wd though. Someone with a 2wd will answer your question here soon.
