wheel question

I am seriously thinkin about installing a 3" body lift on my 02 ranger. My question is, what backspacig will I need on a 15 x 8 wheel with a 33 x 13.50 x 15 SS LTB? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3.75" is usually the norm. I know alot of people that run that backspacing with 33x12.50R15 and a 3" bl with no problems at all.

would a 33x13.50 be to much for a 15x8 wheel?

or get a 15 x 10 most 15 x 10s have a BS of 3.625" which would probably be plenty. Hard to say though, you might rub a little with a tire that wide.

I also think the 13.50 will be too wide for a 15x8 wheel. I'd just go with a 12.50 tire because you can barely notice the difference.

I have a 33x13.50R15 on a 15x10 with 3.625 back spacing. I have a 3" bl with about 1.5" torsion crank. I had to trim up the front plastic valance and the stock fender flair. It was a very small amount like 1 inch on the valance at most and half inch on the inside corner of the fender flair.
